In addition to providing comprehensive trauma care from initial injury to recovery and home, our trauma program also serves as an education and injury prevention community resource.

UP Health System's Trauma Prevention and Outreach Team is dedicated to participating, supporting and developing programs for the local community to help prevent traumatic injuries from occurring and minimize the negative impact of those that do. There are many support groups and programs in the local and greater community to help achieve these goals.
