UP Health System – Portage Names Jason Mayra as Chief Financial Officer

UP Health System – Portage (UPHS – Portage) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Mayra to the position of chief financial officer (CFO). A dedicated member of the UPHS – Portage team for over a decade, Jason brings a wealth of experience, strategic insight and a deep commitment to advancing the hospital's mission.

Mayra, a Hancock native, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University in Houghton. He joined UPHS – Portage in 2014 as a financial analyst, later advancing to senior accountant and, most recently, serving as controller.
