April 22, 2025

UP Health System – Marquette is pleased to welcome physician assistant Kimberlee Parks, PA-C, to the Heart and Vascular team. Specializing in vascular surgery, Parks plays a crucial role in the perioperative care of patients—assisting in surgical procedures, managing pre- and post-operative care and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
A Marquette native, Parks earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University before completing a Master of Science at Central Michigan University. With a strong educational background and extensive experience in surgical patient care, she brings a high level of skill, dedication and compassion to her role at UP Health System.
“I love making connections with people. Being a surgical PA means that I am meeting patients at one of their most vulnerable moments. I have the opportunity to guide them through their surgical experience and provide reassurance,” said Parks.
Parks joins a multidisciplinary team committed to providing advanced vascular care to the community. The Heart and Vascular Center at UP Health System – Marquette offers a comprehensive range of cardiovascular services, including diagnostic and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation and cardiothoracic surgery. As a Duke Health affiliate, the center has access to Duke clinical expertise and practice guidelines that allow for the most up to date staff training and education in heart care. The collaboration with the Duke Heart Network aims to promote evidence-based medicine, optimize patient outcomes, and improve community health.
Originally from Marquette, Parks values the opportunity to serve the community she calls home. “I enjoy being able to provide care to the community and surrounding areas,” she said.
Parks is excited to join the skilled and experienced team of more than 30 providers at the UP Health System – Marquette Heart and Vascular Center, located at 850 W. Baraga Ave., Ste. 20, Marquette, MI 49855.
