UP Health System – Bell Welcomes Dawn Jackovich, MSN, FNP-C to Family Medicine

UP Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of board certified Family Nurse Practitioner Dawn Jackovich to its Family Medicine clinic at UP Health System – Bell (UPHS – Bell). Dawn treats patients of all ages and backgrounds for primary health care services, including preventative health, acute illness, chronic disease management and more.

“I look forward to helping people maintain or improve their lifestyle so that they can be as happy and healthy as possible,” she said.

Dawn earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University in 1997 and worked in several nursing roles at UPHS – Bell, UPHS – Marquette and Superior Endoscopy Center. She received her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, MI, in January 2024, also receiving national certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I was born and raised in the Keweenaw and have lived in the Upper Peninsula my entire life. I enjoy the closeness of the community and being able to get to know the people I live and work with,” she said, adding that UPHS – Bell has a supportive atmosphere that feels “more like family rather than just a place of employment.”

Outside of work, Dawn enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
