What is your role at UPHS – Bell?

I am a Human Resources Generalist. 

What was your inspiration for getting into healthcare?

My mom worked at Bell my entire life, so I would say that led me to want to also work at Bell.

What’s a typical day like for you? What is it like working in this field?

Interacting and assisting employees and potential candidates for positions, working with students and schools for student rotations, coordinating onboarding requirements and orientation for anyone that will be onsite, along with a variety of other tasks or things I am asked to help with. I enjoy being able to offer positions and see people's excitement and eagerness to start a new position/career.

How long have you been employed here? Have you always been in the same position?

I have been employed at Bell for 17 years in which I have been in different positions.

What are some of your interests outside of work? What is your favorite local gem?

Being outdoors—walking, biking, relaxing, and being at my boy’s sports events. I enjoy the warm weather most but make the best out of the cooler months by getting outdoors as well. My family and I LOVE spending our time at our camp in the summer, which is where we spend most of our free time.

What do you enjoy most about working at UPHS – Bell?

The friendships and the relationships that are built with coworkers and those throughout the facility. Having worked in different areas, I have always felt welcome—which is wonderful as work becomes almost like our second home as we spend so much of our time here.
